Hi Mazter Jedi,

Dell XPS 8500, 12GB ram, i73770 cpu. If the server crashes after the initialization completes, is RST going to do another initialization. [1FF8:1864][2016-08-25T20:17:24]i301: Applying execute package. So I tried to install every other USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller driver I could find and it says the same thing. Bluetooth & other devices: I see the Dell MS116 USB Optical Mouse and Dell KB216 Wired Keyboard both showing 'Driver is. Checked USB 3.0 support and enabled all ports. Had to reset both PC's after hours of driver install / uninstall. This KB4074588 only killed a French Windows 10 installation for me.

Did you make any changes to your computer recently like installing/uninstalling/upgrading some software?

This error code indicates that Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. Though you have tried reinstalling drivers i would suggest you to follow these steps and tell me the result.

Uninstall and reinstall the driver
Uninstall the driver from Device Manager, and then scan for new hardware to install the driver again. You may be prompted to provide the path of the driver. Windows may have the driver built-in, or may still have the driver files installed from the last time that you set up the device. However, sometimes, it will open the New Hardware Wizard which may ask for the driver. If you are asked for the driver and you do not have it, you can try to download the latest driver from the hardware manufacturer’s Web site.

1.On the device Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab, and then click Uninstall. Follow the instructions.

2.Restart your computer.

3.Open Device Manager, click Action, and then click Scan for hardware changes.

If the above method doesn't help you resolve your problem then try system restore.

System restore will take your computer to pervious state when it was not facing such problem, this can be done by selecting the proper restore point.

To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:

1. Click StartCollapse this imageExpand this image, type system restore in the Start Search box, and then click System Restore in the Programs list.Collapse this imageExpand this image

If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue.

In the System Restore dialog box, click Choose a different restore point, and then click Next.

2. In the list of restore points, click a restore point that was created before you began to experience the issue, and then click Next.

Click Finish.
