What comes in the 'starter kit'?
Hello all! This is my first time posting here. Background: I did WW for about 6 months 3 years ago. I was doing really well (to the point that the medical condition I had to take medication for- I was able to stop the medication per my Dr.). I know when I joined back then, it was around Sept. and they did the 'new member fee waived'. So I paid around $20 for my first meeting and got a little packet that had a pocket points guide, a little paper points/food tracker that we could replace every week, and the larger 'getting started' book. If you wanted to pay extra you could get other packages to add on that had measuring cups, the scale, etc.

I'm signed up for a 'new member meeting' on Thursday. My aunt recommended that I buy my supplies online, but I don't want any of the extra stuff that I have seen in 2 of the kits there, one being a collapsible bowl and a cutting board with little trays that are used as measuring cups. I just want the points books.
I'm choosing the meetings vs online because I need the accountability and did well before I fell off the wagon. I talked to my Dr. about it and because of the type of Crohn's disease I have, if this doesn't show results then I might have to do gastric bypass (I'm 27/f) and I do NOT want to have this done. I know I can do it with WW, I just want to know what I'm in for this time around since the point system has changed in the last 3 years.
