Everything started from a Restoration patch that aimed to restore censored content in the official English release of 'Kono Oozora ni, Tsubasa o Hirogete' / 'If My Heart Had Wings'.
Over time, two things became apparent: that most of the scripts needed to be re-translated pretty much from scratch and that butchered edition was in such a bad shape that restoring it, instead of working directly with the original Japanese edition, is a waste of resources.
