Meet Ray Donovan (Liev Schreiber), problem solver to LA's rich & famous with a troubled past back to haunt him. Oscar winner Jon Voight also stars as Ray's murderous father, recently released from prison and out to settle some scores.

Ray activates a plan to send his father back to prison; and he handles two crises involving movie stars. In the first, an A-list actor receives a threatening message. The second centers on an action hero who is being blackmailed with a sex video. Meanwhile, Abby defies Ray and spends the day with Mickey.
