Windows 10 apps not working - updates stuck in queue Windows 10 apps worked ok for about the first 6 days after I upgraded my PC from windows 7. Now my mail and calendar apps don't work and I find that there are six apps (updates?) stuck in a queue. 1. What is the name of the games are you trying to download from Windows store?
2. Do you get any error message or just stays as Pending?
3. Do you have any proxy settings enabled on the computer?
4. What is the make and model of the computer?
Method 1: You may try the steps provided in the article and check if it helps.

Method 2: You may check if the Proxy setting is enabled or not. If enabled, try to disable the same and check if it helps:
a. Press Windows Key +R, type inetcpl.cpl and press enter.
b. Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings.
c. Uncheck the Use a proxy server for your LAN check box.
d. Click Ok.
Method 3: The werfault.exe is used for Windows Error Reporting. It is a feature that allows Microsoft to track and address errors relating to the operating system, Windows features, and applications. It gives you the option to send data about errors to Microsoft and to receive information about solutions.
a. Press Windows+R.
b. In the search bar type “services.msc” and press Enter.
c. Scroll the list and right click on “Windows error reporting service”
d. Choose Stop.

Thank you for your reply :) I have an HP 15-d008tu Notebook PC. I followed all the 3 methods and found no discrepancy in method 2&3. I was trying to download 'Asphalt 8 Airborne'. Finally, I have managed to download it. Maybe my internet speed was the reason why I wasn't able to download. But, while running the App troubleshooter, it said 'Display Adapter Drivers might be out of date'. Can you tell me how to fix this thing? I have the latest update installed for my model, from HP. For the Intel HD Graphics update, I checked the Intel's website and it asked me to install a version of Java so that it can search my PC for updates, if any. Can you tell me which version of Java is compatible with my Windows 8.1 laptop?

It would be great if you help me out in fixing the Display Adapter Driver issue. Thanks!

hi... I am trying to download Asphalt 8: Airborne from Windows Store on my PC but the downloading is stuck at 4%. I had it before upgrading to Windows 8.1 but now it won't download.

If the game has started downloading, then it will definitely get downloaded. Have patience. Mine took around 3hours to download. You can try emptying the Windows Store cache. Go to Run and type WSReset.exe and press enter. Download the game late at night if possible.

First of all thank you for your reply..

I left it to download overnight and the next day 'too', but the status was the same. I cleared Windows Store cache before, in addition I tried to download this game in 'clean boot', changed my region and ran troubleshooter. After running troubleshooter it showed that 'Display adapters drivers might be out of date'. But I have the latest one installed, also I have the DirectX v.11.

I could download all other apps but this one as it is stuck at 4%. I wonder what the problem could be.

I am unable to download any games from the App store. It shows 'Pending' forever. When I run the App troubleshooter, it says 'Display adapters drivers might be out of date'. But I checked for Display adapter update and found that I have the latest one installed. I have tried resetting the windows store, but that didn't help too. I am able to download all other apps, except for the games. My internet speed is good too. This has been a headache for quite some time. Please provide a solution for this. Thanks in advance!

It's happening to me too and I'm so disappointed,I thought it's Microsoft Windows phone,but..For 1 year literally I've been trying to download CRIMINAL CASE game and all what I could do is to download and when it start to loading 🔃 then it stops and jump out a notice:Please,try to download (for example:23.7..2016.)...well every time it's noticed to try for month from today..That's happening 1. year,bcz I've been trying more times again and always the same..and to be honest:It's REALLY FRUSTRATING ME 😣..It's the game that I playing over my laptop 💻 and I can't play on my own phone??!Just for case,I downloaded similar game and ONLY MY FAVORITE GAME I CAN'T!..and lately I started to think even to change this my mobile phone:Microsoft Windows Lumia 535 for another one,and this is one of main reason..I'm so disappointed 😞!
